YUN started because I kept seeing pieces I wanted and couldn't find anywhere I trusted to actually ship them.
昀 is a Chinese character for sunlight — specifically the kind that comes through something rather than at you. That's the whole brief. Everything we pick has to do something with light: catch it, hold it, throw it back across a room.
We work in small runs. Sixty of something, sometimes forty. Partly because it keeps the buying honest, partly because a piece is more fun to own when not everyone has it.
Everything ships from California. Everything arrives gift-boxed. Everything can go back within thirty days.
